Diane has over 25 years’ experience as a safety and environmental professional, and is the founder of SQE Assurance, a business formed 4 years ago to provide occupational safety, environmental and quality consultancy.

Diane and her team are specialists in the design and implementation of management systems aimed to improve process efficiency and performance. Diane’s specific areas of expertise are in automotive and hazardous waste.

Nick has more than 30 years’ experience designing, manufacturing and servicing recycling machinery. He has worked with some of the largest mining corporate partners across Europe, Australia, South Africa, India and the UK in the design and build of shredding, crushing and size reducing mining systems. Examples include Osborn GmbH, Kawasaki Heavy Industries Limited, Krupp Fördertechnik GmbH, Böhringer Group and Meta Nikel Kobalt A.Ş.More recently,

Nick has designed and developed turnkey solutions for a full range of battery recycling systems for both lead-acid and lithium-ion and led the design and build of Recyclus’ lithium-ion battery recycling plant. His knowledge and expertise in this field will help to further develop Recyclus’ recycling machinery and its applications.During his career, Nick has developed a range of heavy-duty recycling machinery and systems, covering various materials including tyres, mattresses, plastics, commercial waste, glass, ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Previously, Nick designed a semi-mobile weapons destruction system for use in Kosovo following the Balkan conflict. The machine recycles and separates the materials for reuse in agricultural equipment including ploughs, tools and other items to help rebuild war-torn communities.

With over a decade in the industry, Anwar adds a wealth of knowledge to Recyclus, from his time at WMG, University of Warwick and his career in battery recycling and remanufacture.

Using his extensive expertise in lithium-ion battery recycling chemistries and engineering, Anwar supports our accelerated roll-out of additional recycling plants across the UK, and continues to advance our black mass separation capabilities.

Emily is a seasoned marketing professional with over a decade of experience spanning brand development, awareness campaigns, and strategic growth. With a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in e-Business Management, she has led marketing for the prestigious MSc eBusiness program at WMG, University of Warwick.

Emily went on to found and manage a successful B2B marketing consultancy for four years, delivering impactful solutions to drive business growth. She now brings her expertise to Recyclus, where she leads innovative, data-driven marketing strategies.

James has over 14 years of experience in the recycling industry, beginning his career in metal recycling. He possesses in-depth knowledge of materials recovery and waste management, with expertise spanning both traditional recycling methods and cutting-edge technologies.

As his career evolved, James transitioned into sales, where he now specialises in lithium battery recycling. His broad network of industry contacts, cultivated across multiple sectors, strengthens his ability to drive innovation and growth in this rapidly advancing field.
