Robin Brundle, Director and Co-Founder of Recyclus Group, Joins The Faraday Institute Board of Trustees

We are pleased to share that Robin Brundle, Co-Founder and Director of Recyclus Group, has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Faraday Institution – the UK’s independent institute for electrochemical energy storage research, skills development, market analysis, and early-stage commercialisation.

Robin brings a wealth of experience and strategic insight to the board, as a long-standing champion of the UK’s battery circular economy. His leadership across the automotive, motorsport, and green energy sectors, combined with his role in developing industrial-scale lithium-ion battery recycling at Recyclus Group, will contribute significantly to strengthening the UK’s position in advanced battery technologies and the broader energy transition.

As Chair of Technology Minerals PLC, Robin actively contributes to the development of government policy on batteries and critical minerals through his engagement with parliamentary committees across both the House of Lords and the House of Commons.

The Faraday Institution is the UK’s flagship battery research programme, uniting expertise from 27 universities and 50 businesses to accelerate advancements in battery technology, improve performance, and develop sustainable end-of-life solutions.
