Executive Chairman and Co-Founder, Robin Brundle Addresses the UN on Critical Mineral Resilience

May 1, 2026 | Company Announcements

We were proud to participate in the United Nations’ UNECE Resource Management Week, where our Chairman, Robin Brundle, was invited to present Technology Minerals PLC and Recyclus Group Ltd within Session 1: Driving Innovation in Resource Governance.

Robin delivered a presentation on Global Mineral Resilience and Full Circularity, addressing the growing imbalance between rising demand for critical minerals and increasingly fragile, geopolitically exposed supply chains.

A central theme was the need to move beyond a purely extractive model. True resilience will come from integrating circular systems—recovering value from waste streams, rethinking waste as a strategic resource, scaling lithium-ion battery recycling, and unlocking materials from legacy industrial sites through “urban mining,” while enabling rewilding and biodiversity restoration.

The message was clear: the knowledge, technology, and opportunity already exist. What is required now is urgency, alignment, and partnership to accelerate deployment—bringing together industry, academia, and government to deliver real, scalable impact.

Robin said:

“Being part of this forum reinforced how powerful it is to work alongside like-minded people committed to meaningful change. What was particularly encouraging was the level of global engagement—it not only supports the continued international awareness of Technology Minerals, but also marks the beginning of broader global recognition for Recyclus.

The conversations we had highlighted a clear alignment across industry, academia, and policy, alongside strong interest in our technologies. It’s clear that circularity and resource resilience are gaining real traction worldwide, creating both environmental progress and compelling commercial opportunities through future collaboration.”
